Celebrating 60 Years of Rock n Roll in 2014

July 5, 1954 -  Rock 'n Roll history was made when Elvis, along with members Scotty Moore and Bill Black, recorded "That's All Right" inside the Sun Studio in Memphis. After trying unsuccessfully to capture old ballads, Elvis, Scotty and Bill decided to take a break.
Elvis began fooling around and singing the upbeat Arthur Crudup song “That’s All Right” and the trio broke out in a jam session. Sam Phillips immediately captured it all on tape. This moment forever changed music and pop culture.
